  • What does the winner get?
A big, wet, sloppy kiss from soapy.

  • Why wasn't my favorite soap hunk, (fill-in-the-blank), included?
He was. Click here to see the entire rules list for Adonis 2010.

  • Who were the judges that picked the wildcards?
This year's judges were superherofan, the awesome capper from superherofan.net, who donates so many caps to my site; and DaveId, who runs the great site Dreamcaps.org. Overall, the judges' wildcards had one of their best showings. Superherofan's pick, Galen Gering, finished 4th, which was the best showing of any wildcard of any kind in Adonis history. My pick of David A. Gregory nabbed 7th; and DaveId's David Fumero got 11th.

  • Aren't you sick of James Scott always winning?
Depends on the perspective. Would I like to see someone else win Adonis for a change? Sure, just for the sake of variety. But on the other hand, if I am going to be stuck with a four-peat winner, I'm glad it's someone I find absolutely gorgeous like James Scott.

  • Who did you expect to win?
    James Scott
. I expect nothing else anymore.

  • Who did you want to win?
    I don't care.

  • What was the biggest surprise for you in this year's contest?
The predictability of this year's race. We had only a small amount of shock boots, much less than previous years. Week after week, the rankings at the top of the polls were virtually in stone. Yawn!
Second place answer: I didn't realize GH's Dominic Zamprogna was so popular!

  • I stuffed the ballot box. Did my ballots get deleted?
    As always! Cheaters never prosper.

  • Will there be an Adonis 2011?
Most likely, though I am considering some rules shake-ups to make the contest less predictable. Suggestions are welcome.

  • What's next?
Nominations for the 12th Annual Soaphunks.net Awards will be announced in mid-to-late November, with voting beginning on Dec. 1. Until then, check out the history of the previous 11 years of voting here.
